Our PEC: Why St. Andrew's?
My wife and I, wanted to continue and instill the love, respect and belief in our Christian ways. The only way we can achieve this with our child, is the consistent exposure, not only at our home and Sunday masses, but in his everyday life at school (where he spends a third part of his day). We chose St Andrew’s, not only for the Catholic School entity, but as a way of life. The Catholic values is immensely visible here, not just in the halls, but in the staff as well.
I wanted a nurturing environment for my children to go to school, having been to St. Andrew’s myself as a child, this was an easy decision. The teachers and staff, and community, are welcoming, inclusive and above all, in service of fostering Catholic faith.
Fun fact: after 30+ years I have resumed gymnastics classes and am loving it
We chose St. Andrews for our son as it was the elementary school I had gone to and had wonderful experiences at, especially how much of a community feel it has to it. Everyone knows and cares about everyone at the school, and it was that way when I was there. And is that and so much more now. My husband, who is not Catholic, has said it is the best decision we could have made.
We chose St. Andrew's for our child because of its strong academic reputation and emphasis on faith and community development. Over the past two years, we’ve seen that the school’s approach, which emphasizes critical thinking and creativity, aligns with our values and our child's learning style. We’re also impressed by the supportive, diverse community and the nurturing environment.
Fun fact: I enjoy exploring new places. I have traveled to over ten countries and call three of them home!
